Neil Adams CertAVP(GSAS) BVMS MRCVS - RCVS Advanced Practitioner in General Small Animal Surgery - Orthopaedic Surgery

Neil graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School and quickly developed an interest in Orthopaedics during his first few years in clinical practice. Neil initially started accepting Orthopaedic referrals when he worked for a large group of first opinion practices in Auckland, New Zealand.

Following a period as an intern in a large surgical referral practice in the south of England, he worked for a number of years as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in a busy referral practice in the north of England. He has worked solely in Orthopaedic referral practice since 2007 and has gained experience at several referral practices both in the UK and abroad.

Neil gained the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (General Small Animal Surgery) in 2012. His main professional interests are treatment of Cruciate Disease, arthroscopy, and fracture repair.

Complex cases are referred to our orthopaedics consultant Neil Adams.

  • Management of Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture by Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy (TPLO) or Extracapsular Repair

Victoria Macklin, BVMS PGCertSAOphthal MRCVS

Victoria graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2004 and spent time working in small animal and equine general practice where she developed an interest in ophthalmology.  In 2009 she undertook an ophthalmology internship, and subsequently worked for 10 years at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies splitting her time between the general teaching practice and ophthalmology.  In 2017 she was awarded distinction in the BSAVA post graduate certificate in small animal ophthalmology.  She is based locally in East Lothian, and joined Links Vet Group in December 2021.

  • Entropion and eyelid reconstruction
  • Distichia and ectopic cilia surgery
  • Prolapsed nictitans gland replacement
  • Medial canthoplasty
  • Management of corneal ulcers/foreign bodies
  • Parotid duct transposition

Victoria Jordan Veterinary Surgeon, Ophthalmology Consultant

Victoria Jordan PGCertSAO, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Victoria graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2012.  After six years moving between specialist and general practice in the UK and Australia, she co-founded a clinic in the south east of England, where she was based until 2022.  Within each of these positions, her passion for ophthalmology continued to grow and, in 2019, she completed a post-graduate certificate in veterinary ophthalmology. In 2022, she became an RCVS certified Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology.  Victoria moved to East Lothian in 2023 to join Links Vet Group.
